Steps to get free scholarships in Italy 2022

The Economy website monitors the steps for obtaining free scholarships in Italy during the current year.

CIHEAM Bar Scholarship Programs

It is a Mediterranean intergovernmental organization dedicated to the sustainable development of agriculture, fisheries, food and nutrition security, and rural and coastal areas
It consists of 13 member states (Albania, Algeria, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey) and operates through 4 institutes based in Bari (Italy), Chania (Greece), Montpellier (France) and Zaragoza (Spain) with its headquarters in Paris

Admission requirements

The levels required to apply for admission to the main programs are:
ECTS180 Three years of undergraduate studies
ETCS240 Four years out of every five years
Based on an agreement between the sending university and Bari according to which the year you attended has been accepted as the fifth year by the university of origin for graduation
ETCS300 Five years of undergraduate studies
Professionals with a degree (3-4 years) and at least two years of experience in a field related to each master’s programme
Candidates will be required to prove their knowledge of English – Minimum Level: Intermediate.

Selection process

Selection is made on the basis of examination of documents submitted online by candidates in support of their application; online test to assess the technical skills and abilities of candidates; online English test; Skype interview
It takes into account the academic results and professional experience of at least two years gained in the chosen field of specialization, as well as motivation and language skills
Successful candidates are notified online of their acceptance, by the end of July

Acceptance

They get a “letter of acceptance” and get into the ranking list including the type of scholarship that will be awarded to them. In this step, they will have to make a decision: if they are interested in LUM obtaining the final degree issued jointly with LUM University,
(Master Universitario Di I Livello) which is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education

or express their will to issue these documents as soon as possible if they are not interested or not eligible for this certificate they will get this masters

It is a document describing the qualification granted to a student by an institution of an educational system other than the Italian system. It is used by competent university offices to assess a particular qualification for the purpose of admission to a degree program or for recognition of foreign qualifications
It is usually issued by the Italian Embassy in the country in which the qualification was awarded. It generally contains the following information
legal status and type of issuing institution;
Access requirements for the program leading to qualification;
The legal duration of the study program and/or the total commitment required of the student in terms of credits or hours;
The value of the qualification in the system/country in which it was issued, i.e. for academic and/or professional purposes

Beneficiaries and scholarships

Bari programs are open to candidates of any nationality. Priority is given to applicants from Southern and Eastern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries. In particular, the courses are directed to
graduating students;
young researchers
Extension agents
civil servants
professionals in agriculture and rural development
A certain number of full residential scholarships are awarded each year to candidates coming from member states of the Mediterranean, Balkan and other Middle Eastern countries whose applications rank first in the selection process. Includes full scholarship

Registration fee 200 EUR / year
Tuition fee 500 euros per month
Travel expenses to and from your country of origin
Accommodation and accommodation in student housing
Insurance and medical assistance
Pocket money 170 euros per month
Other candidates are accepted with a partial scholarship that covers tuition and accommodation fees as long as rooms are available on campus
Full or partial scholarships are allocated according to the ranking list
Candidates can apply for scholarships in the application form
