Egypt decided to increase the prices of gasoline and diesel after the meeting of the automatic pricing committee for petroleum products.
The selling price of gasoline products of all three types has been adjusted as of nine in the morning, as follows: 8.00 pounds per liter of petrol 80, 9.25 pounds per liter of 92nd gasoline and 10.75 pounds per liter of 95th gasoline.
Previously, prices were 7.50 pounds for a liter of petrol 80, 8.75 pounds for a liter of 92nd gasoline, and 9.75 pounds for a liter of 95th gasoline.
As well as increasing the price of diesel and kerosene to 7.25 pounds / liter and increasing the price of a ton of diesel fuel supplied to the rest of the industries 400 pounds / ton, bringing the price of a ton to 5000 pounds / ton and the stability of the prices of diesel fuel supplied to the food and electricity industries.
And the price of diesel was previously at 6.75 pounds per liter.

Cairo Governorate amended the tariff for service rides, public transport, regions, and white taxis by 7%.

Today, Wednesday, Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, approved the tariff of public transport vehicles, internal services and regions, in light of the decision of the automatic pricing committee for petroleum products and the movement of product prices as of this morning.
The Governor of Giza said that the committee that was formed to amend the tariffs took into account the distance of each itinerary and the number of trips in order to achieve justice, noting that the rate of increase will not exceed 7% for internal service lines and for regional lines, provided that the new tariffs are announced and suspended in all situations and in a clear manner.
