Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are the biggest losers billionaires since early 2022

Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg topped the list of the largest loser billionaires in the list of the world’s richest people during 2022.

According to Bloomberg’s list of the richest billionaires, Elon Musk, the head of the Tesla Automobile Company, lost about $39.3 billion, but he is still ranked among the billionaires, with a fortune of $231 billion.

Mark Zuckerberg came in second place in the list of losers, with 35.9 billion dollars since the beginning of 2022 until now, in light of the Facebook crisis that it witnessed on Thursday’s session, and his fortune reached 89.2 billion dollars, ranking him tenth among the world’s rich.

Meta’s stock plunged more than 26%, wiping out more than $237 billion in the largest-ever drop in a company’s market value in a single day.

Zuckerberg owns about 12.8% of the shares of the technology giant, formerly known as “Facebook”.

The decline in “Meta” shares came in the wake of the release of the quarterly business results, which showed that the net profit amounted to 10.285 billion dollars in the fourth quarter of last year, compared to 11.219 billion dollars in the comparable period a year ago.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos ranked third among the biggest losers, with a loss of $ 28.4 billion, and Bezos ranked third among the richest with a fortune of $ 164 billion.

The fourth loser, Steve Ballmer, after losing more than 11 billion dollars in 2022, bringing his fortune to 108 billion dollars, ranking him eighth among the world’s rich.

Fifth place on the list is Bernard Arnault, founder of Zara and Louis Vuitton stores, with a loss of 10.5 billion dollars since the beginning of this year, and Arnault’s fortune reaches about 167 billion dollars, ranking him second among the world’s rich.

The sixth loser is Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, who lost about $9 billion, bringing his fortune to $129 billion. He ranks fourth among the world’s rich.

Larry Ellison has also lost about $7 billion since the beginning of this year, bringing his fortune to $100 billion, making him ninth in the list of the world’s rich, and Larry Page and Sergey between about two billion dollars each and occupying the fifth and sixth places, respectively, in the list of the world’s richest.

The only winner in the list of the top ten is Warren Buffett, with earnings of up to 5 billion dollars, with a fortune of 114 billion dollars, making him seventh in the list of the 10 richest billionaires in the world.
