According to the National Bank of Egypt, paying the balance of credit cards includes several methods:
The new Al-Ahly Net service.
Issuing permanent instructions to pay the minimum or the full indebtedness by debiting your accounts.
Issuing the National Bank of Egypt debit card on the current or savings account, linking it to your credit card and paying through ATM machines.
Direct payment of credit cards through ATMs spread throughout the Republic.
Payment through Fawry outlets spread throughout the Republic.
Payment in the branches of the National Bank of Egypt spread throughout the Republic.
Credit card grace period and how are debit returns calculated?
It is the grace period of 25 days for cards (MasterCard Standard – Visa Classic – MasterCard EgyptAir – Visa Gold – MasterCard Titanium) or the 27 days for cards (MasterCard Manchester United – Visa Platinum – MasterCard Platinum) following the issuance of a credit card statement, and no debit return is calculated. On purchases in case the debit balance is paid in full during the grace period, note that the interest is calculated in the case of paying the minimum monthly (for purchases) from the date of issuing the account statement until the partial payment, then completing the interest calculation on the remaining amount of the indebtedness until the end of the month.
In the event of loss or damage to the credit card, the customer contacts the call center 19623 or 0020219623 to report the loss of the card and accordingly the card will be suspended immediately and the customer can request to issue a replacement for the lost / damaged through the call center service employee or by submitting a request to issue a replacement for lost or damaged For the credit card in any of our bank branches or through your Al-Ahly Net / Al-Ahly Mobile service, you can stop the card and request a replacement for the lost or damaged one.
When is the use of the card stopped?
The customer’s failure to pay the minimum payment for a period of two consecutive months, provided that the service is restored to the card within 24 working hours of the customer’s payment of the total minimum payment amounts.
The use of the entire amount or part of it in purchases that are not commensurate with the nature of the historical use of the card.
Make cash deposits in large amounts on a frequent basis in order to increase the balance available for use.
Using the card in transactions prohibited by law, including the purchase of goods or services criminalized by Egyptian law.
