Can you remember a favorite outfit from when you were a kid? I did ballet, so I was always in costumes, sequins, tutus, tight buns, and makeup.
And your worst fashion mistake? There have been plenty! I went to the Australian Open tennis once in a vest and long black pants so long they dragged in the mud and got so dirty and wet. I looked so unkempt! Now I get all my pants tailored to the right length.
What is your fragrance of choice? Diptyque Eau Capitale. It should smell like Paris, but I like it because it’s not too sweet, it’s masculine and fresh with a hint of rose.
Any jewelry? A tennis necklace and diamond hoops from Anton Jewelery, my wedding ring, and I’m obsessed with my Apple Watch.
What’s at the top of your fashion wish list? A Fendi “Baguette” bag with purple sequins.
Is there a current trend that you like? I don’t follow trends, but something I admire in fashion now is that people wear what they want; style is about a woman who feels comfortable in what she wears.
Which shoes do you wear most often? New Balance “550” sneakers.
Is there anything you would never wear? I am not a fan of skinny jeans. Who thought denim leggings were a good idea? I shudder.
What do you wear to bed? Skims pajamas – so soft and comfortable.
Who is your favorite fashion icon? Tom Ford, he always looks so good. He says, “When I’m having a bad day, I put on the very best I have.” I love that because no matter how bad you feel, your best outfit will make you feel better.
What do you wear on a typical workday? A Wardrobe.NYC blazer and mini skirt with a Bassike tank top and sneakers. Or, when I’m home, Zara jeans, tank top, and blazer.
What’s your favorite casual, casual Sunday look? Relaxed jeans, white Bassike T-shirt, black blazer, New Balance sneakers and great YSL sunglasses.
