Nintendo continues to offer its avid fans several surprises and again this time it has done just that. Being the month of the Star Wars celebrations, the publisher recently announced the arrival of a classic game in the iconic saga that will soon make its debut on Nintendo Switch.

It means that hardcore lovers of the space franchise can relive the experience of the old sequel.

Fans are ecstatic about the debut of Star Wars: KOTOR 2 on Nintendo Switch

The Knights of the Old Republic 2 is an action RPG, originally released 18 years ago in 2004. It was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by LucasArts. As with the previous installment, the story also takes place in the Star Wars universe.

Basically, the events of the game take place 4,000 years before the events of Episode I: The Phantom Menace. In addition, this episode also uses the Odyssey Engine, as the first KOTOR.

Speaking of its return, Nintendo just announced that Star Wars: The Knights of the Old Republic 2 will make its Switch debut early next month. This is certainly great news for all fans, as the first part is already available for the handheld console. This way they can enjoy both submissions back-to-back while getting a great experience.

Star Wars: KOTOR 2 will be available for a price of $15 for the base game. On the other hand, players can also have it as a bundle in the US eShop, for the price of $29.99, according to industry insider Wario64 on Twitter.
