The Official Pokémon Diamond & Pearl Sound Library Will Be Discontinued Next Week

The Pokémon Company has announced that it will close the Pokémon Diamond & Pearl sound library just months after opening.

Fans can head to this website to stream and download the music and sound effects from the 2006 releases (free) and discover the “incredible sounds” for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. There are all 149 songs with music and sound effects.

Below is the full announcement – revealing that the shutdown will take place next week on May 31, 2022.

Thank you for visiting the Pokémon DP Sound Library. We’re closing the service MAY 31, 2022, at 9:00 AM UTC† After this date, you will no longer be able to stream or download the sound data.

As for sound data that has already been downloaded, you can continue to use it within the scope of the terms of use and guidelines. You can access this website to view the terms of use and guidelines after the closure of Pokémon DP Sound Library. Be sure to follow the latest terms of use and guidelines when using the sound data.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us since the launch of the service.

This sound library was originally launched in early February of this year, around the same time that Nintendo soundtracks were taken off YouTube.

So if you haven’t downloaded the free songs on this website yet, maybe you should hurry up!
