dr. Disrespect may face multiple issues in its upcoming Fortnite tournament
On May 27, Twitter user Jake Lucky posted a after about an upcoming Dr. Disrespect event. Called “Hot Shot Duo, Drop Zero Build Tournament”, Doc will host the event in the Fortnite world. Interestingly, the event is worth $100k and will feature some of the game industry’s big names.
While this may sound exciting, there is a dark side to this event.
We all know that the Warzone Expert was banned from Twitch in 2020 for unknown reasons. The ban became controversial when Twitch released a strict policy about displaying the bans on the stream. So even with such a massive following and fan popularity, the two-timer was never seen on stream.

Now the Twitch rule would affect Doc’s upcoming tournament, as reported by BoomTV. Apparently the streaming platform has issued guidelines against the host, which look very disturbing.
The opening sentence strictly prohibits users from advertising or displaying suspended users. Pretty sad, right? Well, there’s more. Twitch doesn’t want streamers to use names related to Dr. Disrespect, like Two-timer or Blockbuster video game champion. In addition, Twitch wants all participants to hide, mute and avoid anything about him during the event.
Strange energy. They worry about pronouncing his name as if it were Voldemort, when bigger problems in the world are imminent.
